2- Standing in the pathway of sinners: After accepting ungodly counsel, a person's behavior changes, leading them onto a path of disobedience. This is described as a collective, moving journey away from God that eventually shapes one's conduct.

3- Sitting in the seat of the scoffer: The final stage is reached when, after spending significant time on this path, a person adopts an identity of mockery toward spiritual things.

Pastor Stan characterizes the book of Malachi as a "massive intervention" where God directly confronts Israel regarding their complaints. Despite Israel’s persistent disobedience, the speaker highlights that God continuously offers grace and a path to repentance.
